Hello one and all!
Ananda here. I'm a 20 year old university student with strong interest in political philosophy. Politically speaking, I consider myself a proponent of market socialism (rather similar to the model of Tito in Yugoslavia) and anti-imperialism (fairly close to the ideology espoused in Kim Il Sung's Juche; though I have strong issues with the current status of the DPRK), as well as a meritocratic bottom-up parliamentary democracy system (I can explain my ideas in more detail elsewhere if desired). I'm strongly involved in political activism in my local community.
Outside of politics, I'm an extremely geeky individual (geek pride!). I'm an avid fan of Star Trek (particularly Next Generation and Voyager), Numb3rs, and a large variety of anime/manga. I'm also extremely interested in East Asian culture, and am in the process of learning Japanese (prospectively Mandarin and Korean as well) - second year of study of it at my university.
As far as hobbies go, I'm a large gamer (particularly RPGs), and also hold black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Judo. Overall I'm a fairly geeky person, with interest in most any facet of physical or social science.
