I float in this blackened sea,
in comes my rasping breath,
now i truly know the fee,
the one of life and death.
Land a million miles away,
from my friends did i stray,
the cold sets in my bones,
sleeping on these blasted stones.
The bulging sky twists with storm,
a desolate wind blasts my face,
wearing at my withered form,
as into doom i do pace.
And as i lie here i do know,
where at the demon hides,
in the twisted flow,
of my mind, he resides.
We are our own pain,
we cause out own stain,
and never did we refrain,
not when screams hit our ears,
nor when they raised our fears.
So what have we to do,
in this land of no care,
but wander through,
and pay our deathly fare.
in comes my rasping breath,
now i truly know the fee,
the one of life and death.
Land a million miles away,
