Been reading up on István Mészáros, the Hungarian Marxist professor and he has some interesting things to say. Will check out a couple of his books soon and was wondering if any were worth buying.
I am interested in Socialism or Barbarism:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socialism_Or_Barbarism
Mészáros' is convinced that the future of socialism will be decided in the U.S.A. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S.A.) and sees its main obstacle to be the globalization of Keynesian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keynesian) liberal-capitalism. He reckons that the 21st century will coincide with the third stage of capitalism which Mészáros characterizes as the barbarous global competition for domination between a plurality of free-market capitalist systems
And..
Beyond Capital.
Any thoughts?
