Recently I have adopted a Vegan Lifestyle.
I am always exposed to food in which I'd like to eat.
So What I want to do Is get some good Vegan recipes.
Also I'd like Tips and tactics when debating with a Meat-Eater.
Can anyone give me some Advice and being a Vegan and making it easier?
:star3: Thank You. :star3:

As a vegan myself, it's a great lifestyle to choose. Though, it's difficult at first, but I'm sure you can make it. But really, when it comes to recipes, I usually just get as much vegan products & start being creative. I try figuring things out myself, & I always tend to have tofu somewhere along the recipe haha.
Also, if you want to debate against the meat eaters, which trust me, it isn't that hard to out debate them, but they'll continue to complain & be illogical at times, so just be ready for that. But if you want facts on a vegan lifestyle & the problems with being a meat eater then click the link below:

It might also be smart to point them towards the U.N. report called "Livestock's Long Shadow" which shows evidence that meat industries create more greenhouse gases than any car, plane, or any other vehicle combined. Which then points out that a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle would be the best way of fighting against climate change. You can get the U.N. report below:

You could try just putting "vegan recipes" into google or something. I made a great vegan chocolate orange cake a while ago, which I got the recipe for just by searching "vegan cake."
http://www.vegansociety.com/ might have some useful information. I'm not vegan myself, but I am vegetarian and have recently developed some kind of dairy intolerance so I was on there the other day when I was looking into dairy-free eating.

Better yet, you could just not argue with meat-eaters. This is hardly something that should be at the top of our concern list and probably never will be. The way the market is it is just impractical to not eat meat and the amount of vegans or vegetarians are never going to stop production. Just enjoy whatever benefits you feel you are getting from this and let others dieting habits go for now, specifically their preference towards meat products.

Not eating meat won't save anything.
Oh poor animals being slaughtered. Yeah, when they are slaughtered, usually things are made so that they don't feel anything, so I suppose you should actually go and stop every fight between two animals that want to eat each other. Heh. Poor animals, we must save them.
Heck, be natural.
(I'm not saying this to you, but to those who say ''animal freedom'' and blah blah)

I suggest you actually educate yourself on conditions in factory farms and industrial meat production. Do you really think capitalists care about how animals feel when they are killed, if they don't even consider how workers feel about their working conditions? Get a grip, and stop ignorantly mocking people. Check out Making a Killing by Bob Torres.
Although I'm not a vegan, I suggest that the OP just not debate meat-eaters. It really is pointless to get into a circular debate about dietary choices.

eat seafood, its a good alternative to get all the iron and it will allow you to make your diet more diverse. Its not exactly a vegan diet but to me it sould way more reasonable than eating only vegetable and being forced to take supplements to stay healthy.

Buh buh buh, poor little animals, that die to feed someone else, uhuh.
Not that millions of animals already die in nature, most in much more hideous ways. I guess being eaten alive by a lion isn't so bad after all.
Poor roaches and insects that you kill just because they are bugging you. What about poor plants? They have feelings too.
But seriously. When there's people dying in hunger, it makes no sense to say ''animal freedom'' and whatsoever. WHEN, and only WHEN every human lives a life fit for a human, should we talk about those things.
Animals don't question themselves what happens after they die, and when they enter a slaughterhouse, maybe they even think it's a playground. They don't enjoy life the same way as you do, they are dominated almost only by instinct, they are born to eat, sleep, and reproduce, and that's it.
Heck, atleast think of humans first!

You can make a really good vegan ranch dressing by mixing vegenaise or some other vegan mayo subsitute about 50/50 with soymilk and adding salt and pepper and some apple cider vineger.
It's awesome, I actually just had some an hour ago.

I would personally not recommend arguing with meat eaters unless they make an attack against you. Your food is not a political decision unless you choose not to do something for the worker's sake (I largely became a pescatarian after hearing some information from a friend who was a teamster in a local slaughterhouse)
If someone does attack the fact that you don't want to harm animals, they are a silly, silly person. There really is no point in arguing over it. Anyone who will attack someone for wanting to not cause harm to animals is a strange person...

Not really. All the fights I ever get involved in are because some leaf-eater decided to mess with my food. Wanna be vegan. Fine by me. More power to ya.
Best restaurant I've been too in South Florida, Sublime (http://www.sublimerestaurant.com/home.html), is a vegan restaurant. Making my mouth water just thinking about it.

Still, no way I'm ever giving up meat again, not willingly. Meat is just too good. If I get that much pleasure from eating meat, it tells me that eating meat is natural and a good thing. Hell, it's the damned carbs from grains and tubers that have made me fat. Now that I've given them up and gone to a largely carnivorous diet, I'm losing about ten pounds a month.

as a pescatarain, I get to enjoy the shit from both sides of meat eaters and vegetarians. I would say I get more shit from meat eaters, they 'joke' about it, but it gets fucking annoying, especially being that I make an effort not to be a douche about my eating habits. When I am attacked by vegetarians and vegans though they tend to be really overly emotional about it, which is fucking annoying as shit.

i personally dont see why you would be a vegan,r ather than a vegitarian. but whatever.
i suggest making sure that the food you do end up eating isnt overly processed and packaged. that is, make sure that you arent doing damage to the environment by being vegan.
anyway, what to eat? vegetables, including lots of mushrooms (for b12). lentils are quick and easy to cook, and can be used in a variety of dishes. lentil loaf, lasagna, and pie are just some options (where a corpse eater would use mince).
dont forget tofu. mushrooms, eggplant and tofu are the vegetarian foods for bbqs. marinate in soy sauce, garlic and ginger (and chilli if you like that).
oh, and forget about arguments with people. it isnt worth it.

Because production of eggs and dairy exploit animals.
Also, so does honey production. No honey for vegans. Which is why I always thought it was nuts. Seriously, you're worried about exploiting insects?
