No.
I think he was kidding, especially as he put three laughing smileys after it. Only the most naive leftist would actually want that song as an anthem for anything.

Well the Internationale is the best choice... "This land is your land" (the unedited version) is my second choice.
... "Nazi Punks Fuck Off" is my third choice.

This Land is Your Land wouldn't be a bad choice. I'm all for having multiple national anthems though... Or at least one anthem that we can remix and lay over a hop hop instrumental.

Internationale, for sure.
Can you imagine it? The Capitol Buildings, in ruins after numerous battles, is finally taken by the Communist forces. In front of millions, and billions internationally, the old flag is taken down and replaced with the red banner. Amid the millions, one of the leaders of the revolution, looking into the cameras and to the crowd, proclaims the United Socialist States of America on behalf of the American workers. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, and we are all hopeful for a new future. Several black and latina mothers make moving speeches about the bravery of their sons and daughters that died for the revolution. Yet they are happy they didn't die in vain. After the proclaiming of the USSA, the whole crowd, millions of them, with fists raised in the air, start singing the Internationale. Millions of people, gay and straight, black and white, all united singing the famous lines. The red flag proudly waves over the American land at that time, as millions cry, "So comrades, come rally, for this is the time and place, The Internationale unites the human race!"
