View Full Version : Hero worship
Comrade Anarchist

Everyone here has a revolutionary or radical that they worship or praise. Why is that? We all put our faith in one man like he is a god or something and then we dont question his views leading us to be brain dead stalinists. Many will say that i have hero worship with Ayn rand which is kinda true but i am constantly questioning my beliefs, which authoritative communists never do. And i fucking hate her opinion on homosexuals and have said she was a ***** for what she believed about gays. I call all people who oppose gays *****es. The worship of these people puts them all on pedestals that prevent questioning, leading to a theory that is never clearly vented philosophically. Che is almost revered by some people and omg lenin is like fucking zeus on this site. All their actions and theories need to be questioned constantly, and if not then your willingly shitting out your brains for others control. We can see this worship with george washington and obama. Some people dont question their beliefs not their actions. Many will agree with me on those two people but if i say that lenin was a fucking power hungry prick and that his theories and handling of the revolution reflect that belief then i have to run and take cover. just wondering.

But they are questioned. We get a thread about Che or Stalin every 2 weeks, at least.

I don't know about anyone I'm seeing as a flawless "hero". What is important is not people, but ideas.

Many will say that i have hero worship with Ayn rand which is kinda true but i am constantly questioning my beliefs, which authoritative communists never do.1. What's an authoritative communist? A communist who is a good source of information. Did you mean "authoritarian"?
2. It's a huge joke that you claim to question your beliefs when you have yet to respond to a counter-argument made by me or anyone else here. The truth is you are afraid to question your beliefs or have your faith challenged and so you resort to trolling whereas there are and have been many right-wingers who will gladly engage in honest (even if it sometimes gets hostile) debate.
3. The fact that you think that all radicals here "hero-worship" exposes your plain ignorance and that you haven't even bothered to look at anything comrades talk about on this website.

I never question my beliefs? Good sir, every chance I get I try to disprove my beliefs. I usually can't, and I do, then I adjust. You don't think I've ever changed my mind about a theory? Lol! I can clearly see the good and bad sides of things and people. Do I really need to demonize Stalin for all the bad shit he did, or can I understand that while he did some things I don't agree with, he industrialized a HUGE country in a short few years? I don't worship ANYONE, its called learning and admiring.

Lets look at your other hero Rothbard. Lets ask Rothbard if you are an anarchist.
" We must therefore turn to history for enlightenment; here we find that none of the proclaimed anarchist groups correspond to the libertarian position, that even the best of them have unrealistic and socialistic elements in their doctrines. Furthermore, we find that all of the current anarchists are irrational collectivists, and therefore at opposite poles from our position. We must therefore conclude that we are not anarchists, and that those who call us anarchists are not on firm etymological ground, and are being completely unhistorical." -Rothbard-
