Are there any Islamic groups pushing a pro-socialist ANTI-GLOBALIZATION movement anywhere in the world?

If so who?

Islamists often incorporate a progressive economic policy to some extent. The Muslim Brotherhood for example wants a welfare state with much interventionism. Hamas (which basically is the Palestinian chapter of the MB) is running charities.

That doesn't mean they are left-wing though.

In most Arab countries, right-wing economic ideologies do not have even a fraction of support amongst large segments of the population. Political movements, whether they are loyal to the particular regime or want to overthrow it, need to at least partially utilise progressive viewpoints regarding healthcare, social benefits and so on.

Moreover, reactionary movements in all countries have a history of incorporating progressive sentiments into their worldview, like trying to put sugar on a dog's turd and serve it as a piece of chocolate. Even the Ku Klux Klan back in the twenties did support strikers and demands from "white" workers in some towns (in other towns, they attacked strikers).

The islamist movements do not want the people to control the means of production. If Egypt would turn islamist, those who are the owners of the national corporations would continue to own them. It is likely that local chapters of international corporations in Egypt could be nationalised - only to later on be awarded to people supportive of the new regime.

The islamists do have a popular backing, but they aren't a movement derived from the working class. A very large amount of the islamist opposition in Egypt and elsewhere in the Arab World consist of petty-bourgeoisie middle class and people from academic circles, much like the early ba'athists and arab nationalists.

In all material extent, islamism does not differ from the current establishment in said countries. The only difference is that islamist governments would likely orientate themselves towards Iran or China rather than the west for support. Domestically, the only difference would be a much stricter control over the personal lives of individuals on behalf of the state apparatus.

Why not look at the voices within Islam itself, the Progressive movements etc?
