I'm an anarchist (anarcho-communist, more broadly libertarian socialist) near Montreal, Canada. My first language is French, but I speak English on a pretty much native basis as well.
I'm not currently involved in any organisation, mostly because I don't yet have a car and there's pretty much nothing of that kind around where I live. The UCL, which used to be the Quebec wing of NEFAC, has a couple of places within a few hours, but nothing I can actually attend, that I know of. I'm planning on attending the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair for the first time this year with a friend or two, and may well get involved from there on. I've recently gotten somewhat involved in student protests (they've been erupting more often lately, what with Canadian politics being a pile of steamy crap, and Quebec having separate issues with student loans), but they have an annoying habit of getting in the way of school, which is already going badly enough that I can't often afford to miss classes to go to protests and such.
Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be a very active member, but I'll most certainly keep up on interesting topics and read up.
