introducing myself, i'm chilean.. i was born here, when the dictature was in its peak. After the genocide the "democratic side" took the power til this year... next year we will be in front of a bunch of ... - i dont wanna be rude... - fascism, one of the dictature supporters literally bought my country... i'm ashamed of my people... 51% voted for this JACKASS... what the heck! they all bought the fairytale "we need a change..." and of course, the change will come, but it will affect us in the worst way, worse comes to worst. i totally know that... he owns almost the whole country and now, he own us.

This is so sad for all of us... i think is time for a revolution... but... with a numbed 51%... its not gonna work... sad but true.

just wanted to express myself... :(

Regards,

Jav.

Welcome. :)

All we can do is hope for the best. The whole world economy is struggling right now, and people tend to blame whoever is in power. But hopefully his policies will reignite the labor movement and class consciousness in Chile.

His policies will make us work harder for less.... that's the idea, he owns a huge part of our national companies even a TV channel and a newspaper, actually i work in one of his comps. He is controlling us trough the media. And of course, maybe i'm blaming him
cause he will take the power in a few months and he is the FACE. truth is he will be working with a bunch of fascist people, his childhood friends and cousins, powerful people. The working class wil lbe the most affected, as always.
I would be happy if i could make just the 30% of what he plans to increase to the armed forces workers.

it suck.

Wow Chile, thats pretty cool. I believe their will be a revolution in Chile, infact the whole world is becoming politically conscious. the first time in human history that so many people are consciously awake as to how 99% of the worlds problems are cause by that 1% of the worlds population that control over 80% of the worlds wealth. the situation is beocming in tolerable and people are becoming more aware of this. So have hope and believe in your change, it will come :) and welcome

hola compadre,

Probably the change will come soon, but a bad one... as i said before, the 51% of the Chilean population voted for this guy in the past elections... that means a division... the other 50% now is oposition... so obviously something MUST happen... and hope it happen soon. Our new president, hes not even in the charge yet and he is making mistakes... so this is a clear sign that the bomb will explode soon... also now we are in our summer holidays. March 1th the students will be studying again and I'm sure they will do something. Also, i would like to be part of the revolution here in Chile but unfortunetely i'm workin in one of this guy's comps and i'm totally unable to do or to be part of any political movement. Sad.

The global change is already happening so, I think our Che would be proud of us if we keep working and being smart and silently.
Thank you all for your comments :)

Y claro que proviene del fraude electoral, sobre todo cuando el candidato es millonario y posee influencias, la presidencia se transforma en un buen negocio. Al parecer el cambio está sucediendo en todo el mundo. Suerte compañero fuerza.
