The video is such a virulent piece of stalinist bullshit that it's practically a parody. Just for openers, it accuses Trotsky, et al., of being responsible for the murder of Kyrov, which is a notorious stalinist lie.

Trotsky died for his socialist principles, unlike the revisionist Stalin clique who murdered him along with a whole generation of proletarian revolutionaries who had been tried and tested alongside Lenin in 1917.

That judge, Vyshinsky, was a Menshevik coward who did not join the Bolsheviks until they had practically won, in 1920.. and he had the nerve to sentence to death Old Bolsheviks on phony charges.

The best source of information about Trotsky has always been his own writings (http://www.marxists.org/archive/trotsky/works/index.htm).

Stalin betrayed the POUM and anarchists during the Spanish Civil War. He handed leadership on a platter to the fascists. Stalin also signed agreements with the Nazis and purged the party of many devout communists. Take your pick for who the traitor was.
