My mum told me about this movie which she saw when she was young, although she couldnt tell me much, since it mustve been in the 60's or beginning of the 70's and she hadnt seen it since, she mentioned a few details. Apparently, the movie was about some english trotskyites, and Im not sure, but one ore more of them mightve been locked up in a mental asylum, where one of them got to look after the garden, where he planted tulips or something like that, that looked like the symbol of the 4th International. Thats pretty much all she remembered, but she said it was really fun, and I cant really pass up a chance to see english trotskyites in action! So, what Im wondering is if anyone of you might know what the name of the movie is? So far, google has been of no help.

The movie is Morgan (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060714/). It stars David Warner and a radiant, young Vanessa Redgrave. It's a loony, left-wing romp and well worth seeing.

One thing, though, and I'm going from memory: I don't think that Morgan makes the symbol of the 4th International with flowers. I think he makes a simple hammer and sickle.

Morgan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001831/): Saw me old ma yesterday.
Leonie (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000603/): And how is she?
Morgan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001831/): She refuses to de-Stalinise...

Thats too bad, I was looking forward to it being the symbol of the 4th International, but I guess a regular hammer and sickle will have to do. :)
