I've got nothing against comedy about the working class as long it's actually funny (e.g. stuff by Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse or the two Ronnies). That was just petty middle class prejudice masquerading as humour (and probable multi-millionaires like Johnny Vegas aren't working class, btw).

I'm not saying i found it amusing (nor that they we're working class), but your statement seemed to be made in the broad. As if any joke about the working class would be unacceptable. But, fair enough.
