Awkward break-up? It always is for me. I don't really interact with ex-girlfriends, they're too scary.

I'm quite proud of the fact that I'm on good terms with all my ex-girlfriends.

why
At any given moment she could name ten things I did or am currently doing that pisses her off. Speaking with her seems to stimulate her memory even more.

Why is everyone here assuming Red Manatee's ex is a girl?

Anyways, cheers chap, welcome to the single life.

I don't think they necessarily are.

I presumed that his ex was a was a blowup doll with nebulous gender and age characteristics. My presumptions are the ones most in line with gender equality. So please receive that, in your face.

Either first two weeks will blow, then the rest will just get to a normal boring state again, or first two weeks will be full of high expectations, after that you will be in a normal bored state, just very disappointed as well. Either way, have a blast

I avoid my ex like the plague.... I sort of feel bad for doing it, but absolutely nothing positive comes out of an attempted conversation with her (which is why I left her in the first place) but I run into her now and again and it's awkward as hell :(

The secret is never commit to anyone. Then you wont have any exes.

lol, if you're male you'd better remember to rubber up unless you want 100 x more hinderance.

If he's a male?

Come on, that one's quite obvious. He has a girlfriend and is hooked on computer games. When's the last time you saw a girl addicted to computer games?

Well, who you associate with or not is entirely up to you, so no need to worry, IMO. It's better if things end on friendly terms, but that can't always be the case.

Yeah, I know... I've seen what it did to my sister.

Pretty much the only reason I'm still with her is because I'm way too polite and caring for my own good. I mean, she's really fond of me (confessions of love in facebook and all...), and she's propably the only nice and non-nationalist gal in the entire county. I'd hate myself for years if I brough it all tumbling down over night. To put it simply: follow Jolly Rogera's advice.

Yes, but me saying that it can "not always" be the case might be a bit of an understatement. :D

I too have heard of plenty of urban legends about these supposed female games...But as far as I'm concerned, there is no tangible evidence to prove their existence.

Otherwise I'd have broken up with my girlfriend for 5 years a long time ago.

Yeah my cousin has a GF who is addicted to team fortress. As it happens, that cousin barely uses electricity at all. He's more of a rock festival goer.
