Tongue in cheek title. Anyways, I was just youtubing videos from when I was a kid, and I'm trying to remember more bands that were on the radio at the time:
Ace of Base (lol, what happened to them)
Everclear
U2 (has been on since the year Jesus was born)
Spice Girls
Barenaked Ladies
Hootie and the Blowfish
Yeah if you got anymore post them here, I'm feeling nostalgic.

Chumbawamba, Candlebox, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Better than Ezra, OMC...yeah that's what I'm talking about. The pop wasn't so bad, but 90s didn't quite have soul like the eighties (damn I wish I was a kid then, I mean come on, safety dance?!?!) I actually don't remember many rap songs, cept 2Pac- Changes (oh, and Ghetto Superstar- ODB? and Illl Be Missing You- Puff Daddy, that's a sad song)...I do remember a lot of ska and "alternative rock".
And yeah, I remember that LFO song and how much they suck. :X (abercrombie and fitch, lol all the bourgie kids at my school used to wear that)
Oh snap, you all forgot "sooooooooooarrrrr-ooooo in the door / i'm a loser babyyy so why don't ya kill meee"
Marcy Playground- "sex and candy"
And the cranberries?? No Doubt (before "Gwen Stefani"), Sublime, UB40...
Also, I am glad no one dared to post Hanson.

Nothing in the world sounds more like the early 90's to me than those two songs.

As much as I love Johnny Cash, I'm gonna have to buck the trend and admit that the original version is better. This brings me back to being 12 and playing Road Rash on my friend's Sega Saturn, which had an alternate video for the song. I feel old.

If you don't have this song memorized from your youth, voluntarily or involuntarily, you didn't grow up American in the 90's.

That music video pretty much epitomizes the style of mid-90's NZ. Fuck yeah.
Also on a subnote, their name is very clever but won't be understood by anyone outside of NZ. "Otara Millionaires Club". Otara = South Central of NZ.
