is it just me, or is it quite sick to make these revolutionaries into adverts for consumer products?

Leftists don't need consumerism, this is true. We need to focus on building stronger issues.

Consumerism appeals to fear and ignorance, rather than to the reasoning process. By "voluntarily" buying what our slave masters give us we merely perpetuate our own servitude. But there is no way out of this, because any attempt to restrict the markets in a positive way triggers punishment from the slave masters, the capitalists.

Capitalism is slavery and I'd agree there is no reason to mimic their actions.

I do think it's important to have a youtube prescence. The leftist precense on youtube is bigger than the right-wing, free-market Mises precense. They have to spam just to get subscribers, showing their weakness. There are also tons of videos of leftist speeches and talks on youtube. This is good as open forums give leftists a chance to beat rightists at their own game.

Really? I had no idea. Well the Ancaps, Neocons, and fash are certainly more vocal and aggressive....

There are tons of leftists that are there. Mr1001nights and Buddhagem get a lot of views. There are many other anarcho-syndicalists and even communists.

On the Mises side there is Mises media, which puts out nothing other than the usual incoherent babbling, and a few trolls. Keep in mind that these trolls create alternative accounts (like the Ron Paul bots and spammers) so there is no idea to tell how big they are.

The Ron Paul types and the Nazis do indeed spam and are agreessive - but even still I think the leftist presence is positive.

For every "Reason magazine" (which isn't pure free-market) or some other right-wing oddity, there is at least two or three liberal or even leftist counterparts.

Also keep in mind that Mises forum and Libertarian Left website have very few active members and they are the same people. The fact that the left is able to keep up or surpass them is a good thing, considering the left isn't funded by large corporations the way the Mises institute is. Unfortunately the neo-con and fascist movements are huge online.

Its no more sick than selling sex and violence to children, no more sick than praying on peoples fears for money, no more sick than TV preachers using God and faith to make money, no more sick than .... well .... capitalism, if your outraged by this open your eyes, there are way more sick things going on.

That was pretty funny. :D

You can't take life to seriously.

Also put all of the Leftist and Rightist videos on Youtube together and they won't be watched 1/10th as much as one video of some hot girl showing her butt.

You day that Bud, and I agree with you, don't take life so seriously, but I hope your response is the same if, say, someone makes a joke and Jesus or Abortion is the butt of the joke. :), I'm just saying, let your yes mean yes and your no mean no.

They do and you've never heard me complain. That being said it just shows how far you Communists have gone astray when you compare your reverence for Marx and Che to mine for God.

Besides what is the difference between selling Che shirts and selling cars with Che? Selling is selling. Capitalism is difficult to esc ape.
