March on Wall Street on the Anniversary on the day Martin Luther King gave his life fighting for social and economic justice.

Why? Because we must demand that the needs of the people come before the greed of the super rich. Millions are jobless and homeless, and millions more will be living on the streets if the government continues to waste trillions of dollars on saving wealthy bankers instead of saving people.
Dr. King would have been appalled and opposed to the terrible siege of Gaza as well as the continuing occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.

And just as King knew that the struggle for civil rights at home had to also be part of the struggle against war abroad, he understood that no one, regardless of their race would be free until everyone had the right to a decent paying job or an income for those unable to work. Most importantly, King also understood that Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. The time for suffering in silence has come to an end.

Nothing will change unless our desperation and anger is channeled into a mighty movement that unites and fights. Its time to march on Wall St. Come to the march, and tell everyone you know to come with you.

Communist usa, I love you, man, but what is the deal with Workers World Party and its assortment of affiliated organizations planning several events all around the same time, and some in the same place, as the National March on Washington organization by dozens of anti-war organizations? I'm really curious as to why the International Action Center, BailOutPeople Movement and Workers World Party have not endorsed the march and have instead, chosen to plan other events that will likely siphon attendance from all of the events.

Each year since the 2003 occupation we have not only endorsed but brought buses, vans, cars, signs and displays. We have sent out emails and posted it on our web sites.
We will of course, once again support this years DC March 20 anti-war demonstration in DC and on the West Coast.
We will also continue to fight for Jobs and against attacks on public education, against mortgage foreclosure and against racism, attacks on immigrants and police brutality. We will continue to link these attacks on the workers here to the cost of imperialist war.

We urge all groups to support each others activities.

Workers World Party extends best wishes for the success of the March 20 Coalition and are always willing to work together to end war, help the working class and oppressed with jobs and overthrow capitalism.

See you on Wall Street. But the March 20 in DC is during the Left Forum, which I think I might get sucked into
