shit happens.Not all are determined to be so clever to do that. You can't help it, but to live with it.

It also takes less effort to quote than to think.

Even though I find the arguments for determinism generally more convincing than the arguments against it, I couldn't help but lol. :lol:

Hahahahaha! :lol:

I actually thought of the idea of determinism before I even knew the label 'determinism'. I'm surprised other people had the idea too.

"It takes less effort to condemn than to think" -Emma Goldman
If one create, there is the lengthy toil;
The labored years and days league toward an end
Less than the measure of desire, mayhap,
After the sure consuming of all strength
And strain of faculties that otherwhere
Were loosed upon enjoyment; and at last
Remains to one capacity nor power
For pleasure in the thing that he hath made.
But on destruction hangs but little use
Of time or faculty, but all is turned
To the one purpose, unobstructed, pure,
Of sensuous rapture and observant joy;
And from the intensities of death and ruin
One draws a heightened and completer life,
And both extends and vindicates himself.
-Clark Ashton Smith.

Incidentally, the OP was pretty great, good job. How this has survived in Chit-Chat without slowly being eaten away by the void of rubbish that lies here, I am not entirely certain.
