Yesterday my friend and I started drinking at 9 AM in New Orleans (after sleeping for four hours in my car), and drank continuously until almost 3 AM the next day.

Living in the U.S. I have insurance, but it would still cost me about $100 just to get a Doctor to check me out, and my insurance isn't all that bad either.

I once tried this (well, way before revleft), and ironically it made me more radically. I took a trip to somewhere where without internet access, alocohol, or any news from outside the village. Then you will find, contrary to the abstentionist ideal, how difficult it is to make sense of the existing difficulty. If anything, being in such an "apolitical" setting will make you more aware of the need for struggle, of the justness of our cause.
