curiousity

I have been an American left leaning democrat all of my life. With the recent decision by our supreme court to allow unlimited corporate money in our electoral process and the relatively mild response by my fellow Americans to this outrage of corporate tyranny has shown me that the people I have supported all my life are just as much bought and paid for as any Neo-Con.
So here I am Knowing little about Communism but willing to see if it has the clarity of purpose and regard for the working man that I have craved my whole life and found lacking in my countries leaders.
Be gentle if I piss you off because as I said I know little of the ideology and am here out of a sense of disillusionment and curiousity.
Educate me.

Welcome.
I think you'll find that people here have many different ideas about these issues, so I hope you can be as patient with us as you have asked us to be to your "green-ness" when it comes to the radical left.
I also hope you understand that most of us are trying to rebuild a tradition of independent working class radicalism and since the left in many places is small right now, this can sometimes be a messy process. But I hope you stick around and hopfully even come to help us (here online as well as in your own workplace, community, and region) to rebuld that traddition. We don't want followers we want a working class full of leaders.
