I was wondering if the Communist Star on Che's beret meant anything whether it was upside or normal. Is it supposed to be that way or does it not matter?

I don't think it means anything really. Just a dodgy star if you ask me. On one of my Che t-shirts it has the normal dodgy star, while another of my Che t-shirts has the star replaced with a stereotypical 5 point star.

So as I said, just a dodgy star on his beret.

I know!

If the star turned upside-down it means disagreement with govt.!, rebel !, and finally Revolutioneer!

When the star standing normal it means ORDER !!!

I think it depends on whether the authority used any such symbols (the star(s)). It still doesn't mean alot for me, afterall, communists use stars all the time. Someone could ascertain that you are undermining them.
