How feasible is this? I mean, the advantages over more traditional culture jamming are obvious. You can create whatever you want the billboard to show beforehand and then once it's uploaded to the screen it's done instantly. Unlike sitting there for half an hour with a spraycan, nobody will pay any notice to what you're doing until suddenly the image changes. You could even put it on a delay, to give you enough time to vamoose.

Any thoughts about how possible it is?

But you can play all matter of things (propaganda, leftist messages, horse porn etc) on a screen. In public.

I would love to know if you can do this in Australia, and if it could get you prosecuted.

What would you broadcast in ways of propaganda? It wouldn't work any better than paint. And it would be hassle, and would only last about half an hour if even that.

Well, couldn't you just switch the hard disks on a hard-wired monitor? You'd need to download the OS and drivers beforehand though. Or... if you could do a little file transfer with a laptop, or even a flash drive, surely?

A short documentary would be good. Something high impact though. You'd probably have to make something customised for it. Loud, eyecatching and if you really want to get thier attention - swear. That's an instant way to show that this is not the intended broadcast.

Show the massive holes in the capitalist system and tell people that there is another way. Don't be tempted to be sectarian either directly or indirectly. If you tell people that the only way forward is anarchism and they don't immediatly agree, then the whole of the left's lost them. Maybe they'll come to anarchism/trotskyism/Marxist Lenninism at a later date, but get them into the left first.

It will be illegal. Have no doubts about that. If you took a ladder and wore an overall and a hard-hat then nobody would pay any attention to what you're doing, as it's not as if you're spraypainiting over a billboard. Then all you've got to do is leave as your new advert begins.
