It's always oddly contradictory when Conservatives try to empower people, or make grassroots movements. The video has an air of some participatory democracy, the website seems to involve collecting addresses and picking from leadership-picked campaigns and helping them. A lot of the "campaigns" even seem to be just "elect [Tory candidate] for [constituency]". Come to think of it, MyConservatives.com sounds half-like Myspace, half-like pioneering charity MySociety.org, strange given Thatcher once said "there is no such thing as society".
