I was on a thought trail last night which 'is it best to act on what you believe for if you don't act on what you believe do you really believe in it?'
i'll give a scenario if i did not believe the floor existed i would not act and step on it surely so surely the action is proof that i believe the floor will support me. So surely with that logic then anyone who does not act on their beliefs don't actually believe in them. For example a revolutionary who does not do any revolutionary practices surely does not believe in it.
Not that i'm saying this is true or not just thought i would get some other peoples thoughts on this.

you can't compare very different things. many people don't have the same situation, time, understanding and needs for revolutionary practice. we are not all the same and we are not all in the same situation. how much people can do, they will do. it is not only about beliefs, or will to do something, than about possibilities. one example: maybe you can travel 1000km and visit demonstration, someone can not because of different reasons. for example: someone in my country work 2 jobs per day, someone has rich parents and don't need to work anything so he can be activist 24 hours per day.
therefore it is without sense to compare such things, than simply: people will do how much they can and how much they are ready to do.

I don't have problems like you, sorry. but in fighting against capitalism, people should understand human psychology. of course, you think it must be marxist analysis but I don't think so. we are at RevLeft, it is not only marx :)

problems like mine just arise from over scepticism and critical thinking you must be a like a philosopher and be critical of things until you can explain them only then can you actually justify them and hold the concept :D

Personally, I'm disappointed in those "rebellious" teenagers who would buy a Che shirt from a capitalist t-shirt vendor and then go to a Starbucks wearing it. They wouldn't even last a day as a practicing leftist.

What is "practicing leftism" and what is wrong with buying from Starbucks?
