The Louverture Project (http://thelouvertureproject.org/index.php?title=Main_Page)
Thought I would recommend this website to people who don't have access to books about the Haitian Revolution but are through with the Louverture Archive (http://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/toussaint-louverture/index.htm) and Wikipedia and want a broader selection of short articles and source materials.

Maybe we could get some discussion going on Louverture, what do you all think about him? Heroic proto-founder of one of the first bourgeois republics or capitalist military dictator who doomed himself by forcing the cultivators back to work? Or the other Haitian/Saint-Domingue/Caribbean revolutionary leaders for that matter?
