It really depends on what is meant by those terms. But to hazard a guess, I suppose that it would reflect concerns about the limits of science in understanding the human condition. Arguments around these sort of things are usually making the point that empirical and rational investigation cannot fully grasp the breadth of what it is to be human. In criticising Marxists, for example, I suppose the "Existentialist Postmodernist" might claim that Marxists are attempting to impose a rationalised, scientific solution (communism) on a world in which much is beyond the grasp of rationality and a purely scientific understanding. Post-modernism (which owes a lot to existentialism), in fact, rejects any all encompassing theory (or story) of how the world works (such as historical materialism) and instead urges people to look at world as an incoherent mess of small stories. I suppose if these "small stories" were concerned with existentialist themes (meaning, life, death, choices, etc) and understood relativistically (what's true for one person or group of people isn't true for everyone) then it'd be what you are asking about.
I'm sure there is more to it than that however.

I have merged the two threads started by Faust on this issue.
In the future, you can edit your own thread content, or send a PM to the local mod, any global mod, or any admin, to have the title of the thread changed. Please do this in the future rather than creating a new thread as it clutters the board. Thanks!
