It has come to my Attention that After say a Communist Revolution, most Sciences will go out the window, mostly because most of developments in Science are egotistic and has been used by Capitalists to increase productivity.

So What Scientific Goals will be important after a revolution?

I have a few ideas, but I'd first like to see someone Else's opinion.

Under capitalism, capitalists are motivated by dividends and capital gains, but the scientific discoveries are made by employees who are paid flat salaries. So how could the end of capitalist motives result in fewer reasons to perform science?

I think Science would just grow and grow! Science is linked with technology, and Man learns things for curiosity and need (to make his life easier)

If society is organized in a way to produce much more without wasting, which is taking away the bourgeoisie's luxuries, we can then truly use science to gain knowledge and help humanity pursue a better life.

everything that improves our quality of life but also technology to improve productivity because that way we would not need to work as much to achieve the same results.

and then of course the science that satisfies our curiosity and with that we end up with all the sciences we are already pursuing already.
if anything we would be working on more scientific fields that currently are deemed unprofitable and are thus neglected by the capitalist system.
like space exploration that the capitalists have almost no interest in outside of ego projects.

People would study science to try and find easier ways of doing things, as we already do, not to make more money, but simply to save themselves the work. People will be more free to study as much as they want, so I would imagine more people would go into research or whatever through curiosity because they won't have to worry about (lack of) funding for it. People would also focus on things that are currently "unprofitable." I think that medicines would still be seen as important, for obvious reasons, but also because a lot of people find it fulfilling to do something that helps others.

I personally find science and maths interesting, so provided I'm not the only one that feels that way then I doubt that sciences will just stop being researched.

Tell that to the Russians who had the first man in space and excelled over the Americans in the Olympics or even in Cuba where their biggest export is doctors and nurses. Cuba also develops vaccines to trade for minerals and distributes to Africa for humanitarian reasons.

I foresee just the opposite effect of revolution, sciences will excel, achieving break throughs at a higher rate than those driven by profits. After all, there are products such as an HIV/AIDS vaccine if invented, would cause pharm companies to lose massive amounts of revenue, because it is alot more profitable to develop drugs to treat HIV than to cure it.

the russians outdid the americans at everything with their space program only the americans beat them to the moon (and then conveniently declared the moon the finishline)

i dont think most sciences will go out of the windows, if something happen it will be an expension of the fields of science explored.

there is a lot of scientists out there who have ton of great idea that couldnt be done beccause of its costs.

there is no useless science, only bad application of it.
