I was in military one year, the worst period in my life (I was there against my will, in that time I would go in prison if I refuse; beside it, there is 3 months military training, the rest, 9 months, is stupid cleaning and working stupid jobs in military objects), but in negative there is positive: they learned me how to do some things and that's their mistake:) even in that time I was against authorities, plus now I am anarchist.
we had also school class in secondary school: defence and civil protection, it was also lessons about bombs, mines, and other military theory and learning about civil protection in the time of war.
now, as anarchist, I am against this military theory for pupils, because it can be used against us or for imperialism. but I am not against meeting of pupils with protection of civilians in the time of war.

Military Schools are good as long as they dont force you into radical right teachings.

Sometimes I get really angry at some leftists because they are so f*cking naive. The way some of us talk makes it look like they plan to bring a Communist Utopia to the world without a SINGLE DEATH OR SHOT FIRED.

If you can, then go to a military school.

people can find books and organize alone some training, they don't need brainwashing of military. in military they push soldiers to work stupid jobs, to "make a man from child", plus older soldiers can make psycho terror for new soldiers, etc. officiers believe that people must have hard life in order to become MAAAAAN. when you get soup you get fork, when you get strong food you get spoon, furniture is mega old, you are active from 6-22 o clock, etc. plus when you are in military they can start a war! and you become servants of imperialism.
people should organize theory and training alone.

Doesnt work as well.

Like, Former-Soviet/Current-Russian Spetsnaz [The Special Forces for those who are blind when it comes to the bang bangs and kabooms] had a really screwed training system which is illegal in the west, but which makes the Spetsnaz probably the most lethal force in the world.

For example you have to swim through a pool filled with animal blood and guts [literally] which has the top laced with barbed wire. You could do that yourself of course, but it is lots more easier if you got Captain Raskomanov kicking your ass while you do it.

Oh and they also tie you up CIA style to a chair with only a single lamp for light which is directed at you, and they torture you so you can withstand both physical and mental punishment if captured.

Pretty nifty stuff.
