Far out you are at a Che-lives.com site and you are asking the community for information on Che? Why don't you look around the site in the different links and stuff. I don't want to sound mean but seriously if you can't work that out for yourself i don't know how you can work out communist economics and theory!

Perhaps he doesnt want to run a cummunist economy, he might just be curios about Che. When I first got found out about Che I had no idea about Communism, but now lookit me :) LOL

Um, well, its so hard to answer your question, Kay, since the man had a grand life, and to fit that here is nothing short of immpossible. So I would have to agree with Dan Majerle, go to the many links in this site. After your essay I suggest you read Jon Lee Anderson's book on Che, "Che Guevara, A revolutionary life (its a bit long so thats why I say, after your essay).

Oh, and dont forget to mention that it was the US CIA that shot him...those Capy PIGS!!

Fun learning!

I was just saying about the commie economics and theory becaue he has a communist flag as his avator and i'm sure he has it because he has an understanding of that theory and everything it entails. That is why i found it hard to believe that somebody seemingly so intelligent can go around and ask a stupid question. Who was Che? Look him up!

Che in a very condensed nutshell:
Born into a wealthy family, suffered from terrible asthma since he was a kid. Went to college to be a doctor. Afterwards began a tour of latin america. The scenes of terrible poverty and injustice he witnessed would lead him down the path of a revolutionary. He was staying in Guatemala when the U.S launched the coup that kicked out Arbenz, an event which helped to mold his revolutionary concious and drive him further to the left. Went to Mexico where he met up with Castro, was there with him in the initial invation and stuck with him for the whole guerilla campaign. Afterwards he was made head of cubas ministry of industry untill resigning to spread revolution first in the congo and then in Bolivia where he was killed. By the way the CIA didnt kill him, CIA trained bolivian special forces did.

Also to be noted: Doctor of medicine, initially the field doctor for Castro's revolution-turned-armed soldier. Wrote a handbook for suburban guerilla warfare. Author, mostly on the subject of warfare and the cuban revolution.
