Greetings Comrades,

Has anyone heard of the BRLP? They are active in Oakland and claim to be the next generation of the Black Panthers and they do a lot of the work the original panthers used to do.

We had some people from the BRLP from LA come up for a hip hop festival we helped put on a few months ago. They seem pretty tight.

You can try getting a hold of Revolutionary Autonomous Communities from LA. The people from BRLP were with them.

I heard for them and I hope they will succeed to get people for their resistance against repression.

They're a sweet group which deserve our support, like, in my opinion, all black power groups in the states. What makes them more awesome are their marxist tendencies, as opposed to, for example, the new black panther party, who are progressive but only really deserve our support from an anti-imperialist perspective, or at least I think so.

Some Black Riders got arrested a while ago.

What's I like about them is that instead of embracing gang violence and shooting each other as Crips and Bloods, the brothers and sisters joined hands in a Black Panther fashion. What I'd really like to see organized would be a similar group except aimed at Chicano liberation. I haven't seen anything like that, except from RAIM-esque parties, who aren't really Chicanos themselves but white "John Browns supportive of Chicano liberation" or something... Something like the guy who owned "Revolutionary Aztlán" before it closed advocated in his.. practical programme, or whatever it was. That was cool.

The Black Riders Liberation Party was formed in 1996 by Bloods and Crips in the California Youth Authority college class. As their political understanding grew, especially being inside the belly of the beast, they were able to see up close how oppressive and dehumanizing the system of capitalism is. They recognized the need for a political party that was going to represent the needs and desires of Black people inside Amerikkka's neocolonies, the ghettoes.

P.S The leader of the BRLP calls himself "Chairman T.A.C.O", T.A.C.O standing for "Take all capitalists out". I'd just like to give him props for finding such a sweet acronym party name which has such an awesome edge to it, haha.. tacos, man.
