Yeah, there seems to be an influx of South Korean voters---understandable, as there are plenty of soccer-nuts over there.
Personally, I hate it. 22 people chasing after a single ball--How stupid is that?
If I ever become the dictator I'll simply give everybody a soccer ball so those poor suckers needn't fight for it.

Looks like they also have hooligans in the DPRK.
In March 2005, Korea DPR entered a match with Iran (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran) with limited chances of qualifying for the World Cup finals due to poor performance in early fixtures. During the match hosted in Pyongyang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyongyang), North Korean fans became enraged when the referee failed to award North Korea with a penalty kick after a controversial play near the end of the match. Demanding a penalty, they rushed Syrian referee Mohamed Kousa (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mohamed_Kousa&action=edit&redlink=1), who instead gave a North Korean player a red card. Bottles, stones and chairs were thrown on to the field following the play. After the match was over, North Korean fans refused to let the Iranian team leave the stadium on their team bus. The violence was so severe that riot police (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_police) were forced to step in to force back the crowd [1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korea_DPR_national_football_team#cite_note-0). Following this incident, North Korea lost its right to host the subsequent home match with Japan and the game was instead played in an empty stadium in Bangkok, Thailand (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangkok,_Thailand).

Oh my god, those NK rioters are awesome, hats off to them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4395117.stm. I like the way they get a 'defector' to talk about them, what a spazz, this is the best bit though:
Violence then spilled over outside the stadium and thousands of angry fans reportedly prevented Iranian players from boarding the team bus. The atmosphere on the pitch and outside the pitch was not a sports atmosphere. Iran's coach Branko Ivankovic was quoted by Reuters news agency as saying. It is very disappointing when you feel your life is not safe. My players tried to get to the bus after the game but it was not possible - it was a very dangerous situation.
