But it matures and ripens with age like a good bit of stilton or French brie. I think politicians need to swear more anyway, it livens things up.

No, Green party. This is what i mean about Ireland being more leftist than the UK, you never see this sort of dissent by politicians in westminster.

I'm not really seeing how you could classify this as dissent. Gogarty is a Government TD defending voting for a vicious, austerity budget.

He's also known for being a complete nutter. He previously through himself on the floor during a debate and rolled around faking a fit to avoid answering a question.

I don't think there's any video footage of it unfortunately. It was a local public meeting which generally don't receive huge media coverage.
