It's all over the news aggregators but AFAIK this (http://www.kitv.com/politics/22094469/detail.html) is the local station that broke the news. Much of the sentiment has been gleeful, according to the sample of comments I've read, with a good percentage hoping that he dies. A few sources say he's in "serious" condition, and I saw one that said his closest friends are at his bedside.

I don't hope he dies, I hope he survives but is caught in some scandal or contract problem which leads to him going bankrupt and losing his job and radio "credibility". But then he discovers that all his medical bills are no longer covered because he lost his job. he is forced to go on welfare and get medical aid for the poor.

Then I'd like to see him on the street one day, talking to other bums in the park about his once glorious career. He has a leg that was removed because he got diabetes but had no health care to diagnose it or treat it properly and now he must rely on medicare.

Then I will see him and say: "rant for me conservative monkey... tell me about how the homeless have it so easy... tell me about how people on welfare are living the high-life on the taxpayer's dime... tell me about how bums are just lazy... the sick just didn't take care of themselves well enough... the homeless were just wasteful spenders! Now dance right-wing monkey, dance!"

Of course those on the left aren't going to 'like' Limbaugh. But just by looking at many posts on this site alone, it's obvious his obnoxious style has been influential. :lol:
