At my school today a teacher who we call gebus seemed to know the shirt I was wearing with che on it and said "Do you know who that man is on your shirt?" I say yes Che Guevara he says "Yes he is a communist and communism is a failure". So I say in your opinion yes but in mine no its not he changes the subject and says "Do you know where he was killed?" I say ya Bolivia and he says "Very Good" then he gets into this shit about saying che had alot of blood on his hands and shit and I say ya for a better cuba and so on. Then he says Castro tryed to have che killed but the bolivians got him first is this true??? (OH YA THAT TEACHER IS A FUCKIN ASSHOLE).

Well the question seems to be different from what you lot interpreted it as:
"Then he says Castro tryed to have che killed but the bolivians got him first is this true???"
So it is not a question of who killed him, but if Fidel had plans to.
But that is a notion that is clearly a lie, Castro would never have his good friend, comrade and one of his top political players killed and then have the courage to praise Che after his death.
Tell this idiot teacher where to go, even show him the pictures where the Bolivian army and CIA are beside his body after they murdered him.
http://www.che-lives.com/pics/gbmche10.jpg
This is Che with the CIA agent Felix Rodgriguez before he was shot.
http://www.che-lives.com/pics/10.jpg
That is Che's body after he was murdered pictured with Bolivian army officers.

i believe che was killed by the CIA in a school building
Read the thread at the top of this forum for your answers please.
Che was killed by the Bolivian Army while captive after a failed engagement. The CIA wanted him to go to Panama for 'questioning' but the Bolivians would rather him dead.
I don't see what surprises you about people not agreeing with Che. Most people only know him as a face and nothing past that. They like Che but hate Castro half the time too, which is even funnier.

Also suggest him to read Che's biography by Jon Anderson

Hilarious~~~ :D
My opinion and most probably the truth,
Fidel is good in his heart and i trust he treated Che as a true chum, with warm and zealous trust , love and invaluable friendship..
Fidel is always having hard time.. 1) CIA's scummy attacks.. 2) living up the Cuban Revo. dream ......&... finally and most ironically -------> 3) wrongly condemned by some assholes that he was jealous of Che.. wanted him dead, etc
<_< !!!!!

This is the best/worst nightmare: in school I had a pic of Che and I draw a work of him in the art class.. and my art teacher looked the pic and said disdainfully "Oh, is the old man Lenin again in fashion?" I said "I´ve never thought it that way. and ..eh..this is by the way Che.."

My AP English teacher actually like Che and Fidel. He likes Lenin to an extent. I've debated him on Stalin. He's mostly negative towards him. He's probably the best teacher I've ever had.

One of my teachers from highschool when asked about his political beliefs said, "I'm basically a Socialist." He didn't like Lenin though, I think he ran in a lot of Socialist circles because he said, "Don't believe what your friends might tell you about him, he wasn't a good man." Even though no matter what all you hear about in the US (or Indiana for that matter) is "Lenin the Tyrant".

Che did want to strike first against US when the Cuban Missile Crisis occured. He hated America. As any logical person would.

You dont know who Che is?! Hes the guy who fought the revolion in Mexico and Puerto Rico!" "Oh yeah," my bro responds, "I didnt know that!" He turns around to the other guy working there, "Hey did you knwo that Ches the one who fought the revolution in Mexico and Puerto Rico?" "Nah man," he responds, "I didnt know that!"
"WHAT?! HOW COULD YOU GUYS NOT KNOW ABOUT THAT?!" So she leaves all disapointed
 my bro was laughing his ass off.

first off id like to say that im so happy to find people who share my point of view on these subjects.
and also i get exactly the same thing, i have a book called Viva Che, its got a brief autobiography and a bunch of poems written about Che after he died and i get so much crap about communism failing and how bad Fidel Castro is from people who see me with it. not to mention the bad looks i get when i am reading it in public.
at school we had to make a politcal group modelled on a goverement that already exists, i chose Fidel Castro's and my teacher gave me a lecture on how bad Fidel Castro and Che Guevara are.
also at this link Denden's politics forum (http://denden-forums.com/index.php?mode=viewthread&forum_id=42&thread=5&PHPSESSID=47273e2aa8efe7a32c8773998f404ed3) i had a hufe argument with people about Fidel Castro and Che Guevara.

What did you say to your teacher? I talked my art teacher into the ground when she criticized Lenin and Castro.

Also, in Art class we had to do some New Agey deal by drawing a close friend of yours that was in that art class, I didn't know anyone in there so I drew Karl Marx and a SUBSTITUTE, A FUCKING SUBSTITUTE had the gall to tell me I couldn't do that! I told her to fuck off, then got an A on the project from the real teacher. Pissed me off.
And on a note, I hope you guys don't criticize that other teacher I mentioned too harshly, he's probably the best teacher I've ever had and one of the few who didn't lie to you. I asked him why we weren't going to be learning about the Armenian Genocide in our World War I unit and he replied "The state board of education in Indiana couldn't give a shit about the Armenians." He also taught us about more then wars, he also emphasized on civil rights on the like. So I ask you don't judge him too harshly, he's ahead of his time in teaching (despite the Lenin comment).

is that to me? even if it isnt she said
"why do you want to model Cuba's goverement, it failed and he kills innocent people"
i got "yea i know but thats not the point, Castro is an amazing man, the goverement before him was so much worse and Castro and Che did so much for Cuba and for the rest of the world, they both gave so much hope to the rest of South America who were going through similar things at the time. my family have been helped so much with the hope that Che gave them and i know that he has helped me aswell.
your Australian. you've got a decent life here for yourself, how the fuck would you know about what Castro has done?
youve been brainwashed with the rest of the western world by imperialistic pigs and that why you critize Castro like that. you dont kno the half of it, im not saying i do but dont critize Castro or anything infront of me because i wont stand for it."
it was something like that and it shut her up pretty damn fast, everyone thought i was crazy. i didnt even have to use any facts or figures or anything cause she had no idea what to say

I enjoyed the art class stories. In high school I made a Che portrait/plaque thing in ceramics to have as a little piece of inspiration. My art teacher saw it and said, "is that Che?" and I told him it was. Later he told me I should sell it, and I told him, "But would that really be in the true spirit of Che?" He replied, "No, it'd have to be a keychain or a tee shirt made in a sweatshop in Honduras." A little crack at all the merchandising surrounding that famous portrait =)
