Hi

Apparently I'm supposed to post a bit about myself here so...

I'm Adam, I'm from the north-east of England.

As far as my politics go I was previously a card carrying member of the Lib-Dems but no longer as they seem to be morphing into Tory lite... (Plus I wasn't happy that the parliamentary party hounded out the leader I voted for because they decided he was too experienced (sorry, old))

I read Capital recently and a few of the Marx/Engels essays so thought I'd pop on here and see how these ideas might apply to the modern world which is rather different to how it was in the time of Marx, for example I'm not sure how well decentralisation would work (and the irony of discussing that on an internet forum isn't lost on me), expect me to be observing a lot and posting very little, at least initially.

As for what I do, I'm a programmer (unixlike and windows when I must), also do some electronics design, embedded systems and the like.

(Note: Best make this clear, my nickname is nothing to do with Hideki Tojo, it is from an anime/manga called Chobits, at the time I ended up with it I was unaware of the name of the 'other' Hideki but it's too late to change it now after all these years)

Hi, welcome! :)
And I already wondered if we'd get a Japanese fascist now, because of the name. :p
