One thing I do like about hash though is that it tastes and smells better than weed. The high I've gotten from all the hash I've smoked usually amounts to the equivalent of a good weed high, though, so I don't think of it as anything too special when I come across it.

I did a little bit of trimming this year and it made me dislike smoking all the time. I used to smoke multiple times a day every day and trimming 15pounds with 3 other friends in under a week just killed that. So did eating a ridiculously strong brownie one of my friends made while we were trimming; me and another friend both ended up losing a day and both had the exact same experience of being/feeling dead - definitely fucked up, I've never been that fucked up and I've done a lot of different types of drugs.

However, be warned that street MDMA tends to be rather "impure" and could contain other things...like caffeine, methamphetamines, etc. Some might be a mix of MDMA with analogues/relatives like MDA and MDE which, at least I personally, would prefer then having something with methamphetamines in it.

start with half, break the capsule and divide the powder over two or more roling papers. roll them up, swallow one and take the next one only when the firts one starts to work and you like the effect. then it doesnt hit you as hard (when a capsules mdma hits in one go it can be quite an intense drop).
and if you realy want to take it slow, you can also snif it but that hurts like shit.

From what I read...

use Tryptophan and/or 5-htp during the comedown...
it might restore to some extent the serotonin levels in your body (i.e. most psychedelics and MDMA, which is classed as "psychedelic amphetamine" in erowid, work by acting on a serotonin receptor in the brain).

Some people I heard (or maybe I heard incorrectly) even take it before, during, and after MDMA but there's the caution of "serotonin shock."

Also, weed helps. In fact, I would suggest you take the tryptophan or 5-htp and smoke weed during the comedown. Also, sleeping afterward would be good.

It wasn't awful or anything...certainly nowhere near as bad as the hangover after a night of heavy drinking. I just suddenly felt real tired, and had a irritating headache...and I almost never get headaches. I think that may have been the result of not being hydrated enough during my last session.

I hallucinated just random stuff, like dustbins, crabs, robes hanging from my door turning into people when my lights turned off, etc. This along with hearing voices in my head at nighttime scared me away from drugs forever, including weed.

They no longer persist, but that's not reason enough to return to drugs. There's still a load more reasons to not do them again; money, the fact that most of my party is vehemently anti-drug, history of drug abuse in my family... :bored:

Yeah my father went bonkos and committed sucide when I was quite young, psychiatrists said it was from drug abuse. So I think it's a good idea to stop now when I can see the problems just emerging (and they only emerged in about the last 2 weeks of my drug use).

Also yeah, the symptoms of HPPD sound similar to what I have.

was it connected to the drugs, or (you don't have to get too specific about this, obviously) other things occurring in your life at the time? for a month or two once i was completely unable to get high without having massive panic attacks and all sorts of bad shit. eventually some things in my life changed and now its usually not a big deal, though i occasionally still get some negative effects depending on external factors. i'd say take a break, relax and maybe experiment with it later.

I think it might be linked with an incredibly traumatizing time I had stranded in a dodgy part of Auckland with weed on me high as fuck (vape, pipe twice, two joints, spot) being followed around by cops/security guards and no means to get back home. After that I couldn't smoke weed without going batshit insane and feeling anxious and socially awkward for days after. It's also self-perpetuating as the slight uneasiness I have about if I'll get paranoid again or not when I smoke weed manifests itself when I get high.

But yeah, when I say permanently off drugs I mean until I feel balanced again which may take a while (quite a few months, possibly a year), every time I smoked weed I just end up feeling more and more fucking crazy. And it doesn't help the mild HPPD I have acquired somehow. But if I do get back on weed I probably won't be smoking it as constantly anyway, since it was making me a little weird for the months prior, but it wasn't as extreme as now. I think I might just stay off it until I have a more healthy and independent lifestyle than the one I do now at least.

I tried experimenting a bit with codeine in the aftermath of my illness (giving someone like me a refill of what essentially amounts to liquid narcotics probably wasn't responsible). WHOA. BIG MISTAKE.

I woke up with a splitting headache the next morning. It was one of the worst headaches I've ever had. It went away later that day and I've been fine since, but I'm never ever taking cough syrup after that experience.

It was a codeine-promethazine cocktail. I guess I was just curious to see what it was like to take a bunch of it. Couldn't tell you how much codeine was in it, as I don't have the bottle in front of me at the moment. Can't remember how much I took...maybe a few ounces, I'd guess? I was supposed to take only one tablespoon every two or three hours.

DXM definitely is a more fun high, probably...codeine isn't even a high, more of a crashing low.

I, on the other hand, developed in a different way and now I'm a godless communist most interested in the subjective and vagues subjects other than the purely objective and empiricist subjects. This may explain why such people are dismissive of B.A.'s. Because they don't want to think about and criticize the system, they want to become submerged into it like little worker bees, and makes lots of money so they're higher in the established "order".
