What? The name of the club is Red Bull? How fucked up is that.

Interesting draw.

Yeah, the Salzburg thing is a bit silly. I didn't know they changed things that much, I thought it was just a sponsor name. But according to the Wikipedia page, the new management changed things around completely, and said that "this is a new club with no history". I think I need to go out and puke for a moment.

Ajax vs Juventus, 1-2, was a typical disappointing game against Italian sides. Ajax dominated, but they were beaten by 2 efficient Amauri headers. Amauri easily gained air superiority over Vertonghen. FUCK. The only positive to be taken from this was that Sulejmani finally played well again, and scored the opener, but that's little relief. Luis Suarez had a poor game, and earned himself a yellow card that will force him to watch the return game from the stand.

However, on another Dutch football pitch, FC Twente surprisingly beat Werder Bremen 1-0. It was a lucky win for McClaren's team, but those count too. Theo Janssen scored one of his characteristic long-distance shots. Janssen had been out for months; the club had suspended him until the end of January because he caused an accident while drunk driving in late November, which put one of the passengers in his car in a coma. So, this goal was significant for more than one reason.

Just kicked off 10 minutes ago: Hamburger SV vs PSV. Interestingly, this game might see Ruud van Nistelrooy play against PSV, the club where he became great by scoring 62 goals in 67 matches. However, at the moment, he is benched, and will not be fit to play more than 60 minutes. A relief for PSV, because he's still a fine player at 33.
