Did any of you live in the Soviet Union or have relatives that lived there?
Some of my relatives (part of the ethnic German minority in Russia, which moved there about 400 years ago) lived in the USSR the whole time. Anyone else have a story like this?

My best friend migrated here from Russia. By the time she left, the USSR was already near the end of it's days. But her parents lived there their whole lives.

Well if this guy says Stalin was a great guy, it must be true! I mean, if he was really that bad, then all russians would have hated him, right? Just like all Americans hate Bush?
