I've been happily surprised that Hulu contains a large collection of documentaries, inter alia, about our boys...

I won't link to them because they are ubiquitous on that site, but oh my there's a lot of good stuff on there. Highly recommend. . .

plus why pay for cable when you can watch everything online on hulu and fancast?

I also recommend google video, from which you can watch and/or download a lot of good documentaries, like 638 ways to kill castro, the corporation, a nation's right to survive, etc.

How is this possible? What about copyright infringement, RIAA, etc?

I have a hard time finding the TV shows I want to see on hulu. Maybe its because I want to see the latest episodes. All I know is I get frustrated looking for full shows and not just clips.

Q- the site just compiles show streamed on the network websites, i think. it is all legit and has ads and all.
