It seems that you have been given a lot of shit for your outspoken views, and in my opinion you haven't been given a good chance to explain your entire political situation/platform.
Well, here you go. Explain what you see as a perfect society and the methods (in detail) you would use to get there. At the very least, may I ask what tendency you fall under?

A perfect society is all humanity united in a world where the preciousness of every living person is the primary value in society.
This will never happen. The best we can hope for realistically is a strong socialist state, and not a fake one like the Soviet Union.
How are we going to get there? I don't know, and you shouldn't trust anyone who thinks they do. I will tell you this, though. There is not nearly enough suffering in the west for them to even consider a revolution. Things are going to have to get much worse before anyone would go down that path.
I don't have a tendency. Rigid adherence to doctrine is part of the reason why the left is faltering. That and lack of focus and community outreach.

Uncle Ho, it's wrong to assume that suffering brings revolution. The workers of France seem better off and having won more reforms to their benefit, yet their radicalism still outshines the US by far (I think you're from the US).

They have won incremental reforms, not a revolution, which is why they can only stand back and watch as everything they fought for is taken away.

Why?
The best we can hope for realistically is a strong socialist state, and not a fake one like the Soviet Union.
What do you understand as a "strong socialist state" in this context?

Why?
Because humans are imperfect and often driven by such base instincts as greed and hatred.
Unless you want to wage constant wars and shoot everyone you deem a "reactionary", in which case you're just another oppressor.
What do you understand as a "strong socialist state" in this context?A nation organized around the principal of a Democracy of the Proletariat, which resists Capitalist influences and keeps power in the hands of the worker, instead of giving it all to oligarchs.

But they're not just standing back and watching, they're fighting back with tactics considerably more militant than you'll find in most of the Western world. Bossnapping, for example. Even though they "suffer" less than people in many of those countries. How do you explain that?

And they're accomplishing very little, if anything. Sarko and the third way clowns before him have eroded everything they once had, and they're only going to make it worse, because the people fought for incremental changes instead of a radically re-ordered society.
