what does lyric say? It's brabantian dialect (so don't see it as a course in dutch :p). But I'll translate it to English (the refrain that is + the first lines).

Ne vent verleeje week ree nie ver van main vandoan
Hil dicht oep de bumper
Mee de grote lichte aon dus ik stapte oit
Ja dè doei ik altaid, ik riep tege hum, witte wè ge zait "Some guy last week wasn't driving far away from me.
Very close to my bumper.
With his big lights on, so i got out (of the car).
Yes i always do that, and i screamed to him, do you know what you are?"

Pannekoek, pannekoek, pannekoek
In m’n onderbroek
‘k Zai naor een WC oep zoek
pannekoek in m’n onderbroek "Pancake, pancake, pancake
in my underwear.
We're looking for a toilet.
(For a) pancake in my underwear."

As long as there's nobody from Zeeland. I do hate Zeeland. A couple of years ago they finally signed the peace-treaty with Spain (true story, haha).

Luckily, where I live, there is a slight elevation. So if a flood ever happens, my town can become a seaside resort and we can all be rich.

Also, as of 2010, the colonies in the Caribbean will officially be considered municipalities of the Netherlands, so the highest elevation will be a volcano on Saba:

I agree, Limburg shouldn't be considered a part of the netherlands at al. If you donate us to belgium, then the Dutch and Belgian Limburges (yes, the belgians have a Limburg too!) can become a new independent nation as soon as the war between flanders and wallonia erupts.

If I ever become a nationalist, I'll be a limburgian. Not because we have great music or politicians, but just because we can. Luxemburg, eat this. Limburg will be the greatest 'burgh' alive!

What i cant understand is the need to live below sea level. Is it just because you can?

try and fit 16 milion people on the bit thats above sea level ;)
i think historicly we just got pushed out of germany by stronger groups and forced to live in the delta.
after that we kinda adapted, we became an fishing than sea-fahrers than an imperialist nation, wich made us infependent but also at war with our big neighbours france and germany.
wich atracted lots of refugees from those countries, wich in turn made us rich but crowded, espacily since we also had to provide all these people with food. because we couldnt import anymore from the neighbours who we were at war with we needed more land so we adapted further.
if biological darwinism was as fast social darwinism we probily just devolped webbed feet and gills but we got dykes, windmills and polders instead.

Brabantians usually exercise extremely offensive humor. There's no negative intend to it most of the time. Most of the people here who make (bordering) racist jokes are at the same time fervently anti-PVV.
It's often mistaken by people above the great rivers. I think a classic example was the NVU's march through Bergen op Zoom where they got really enthusiastic cause there would probably be a lot 'rude farmers' who'd join them! Then they found 1000 counter-protesters despite harsh laws enforced to prevent such a counter-protest.

edit: Not suggesting it's impossible for Brabantians to be racist btw, just saying rude non-PC humor is extremely common.

Hmm... True, true. I must admit, Utrecht culturally our superior.

That's why, in another thread, I announced that Limburgian Republic and the Republic of Brabant, whilst being at war over weert, are in an alliance at the same time, in order to conquer the city of Utrecht from the damned United Holland's.

Utrecht, centre of the known universe.

Since the Big Bang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Bang) occurred everywhere and all galaxies are moving away from each other (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_expansion_of_space), there is no center of the physical universe.

i.e. utrecht is an figment of your imagination, it doesnt exsist.

The Revolutionary Insurrectional Army of Utrecht will drive you back to your 'hills' with your tail between your legs, then we invade Amsterdam and sack it and be home before dinner.
