Is anyone else fascinated by the way that your phone's outbox feature allows your sensible, sober self to glimpse the inside of your fucked-up drunk self? An example being the texts I apparently sent to my girlfriend last night:
"fair enough. as a metaphor for that i will definitely let [name deleted] know about how you're gonna punch her in the head 100 times."

"um. it appears that was meant for you. maybe i'm drunk and you're sober. let's fight everyone."

"let's full have a fight and set everyone on fire. specially [name deleted] cos he's a nonce."


I have no clue what was happening there, but gin clearly makes me get pretty lairy. I wonder what made me decide that guy was a nonce?

Sometimes when I am drunk I leave little messages for myself on my phone about ideas that occur to me due to intoxication, anyone else do this?

I've only reach the point where I would drunk text very rarely...
I tend to remember I did and why and some details.
I've texted people while tripping...but that's because in some point no one wanted to break the "silence" and decided just to txt each other to keep a line of communication.
I had the urge to do so at another time while tripping but I just didn't know who and what we would talk about...I felt that the other person would just be annoyed with me I was kind of distressed about this I felt like there was no one in the world I can just "fuck around" with txt messages and still be in good terms with later.

This isn't me, but a friend of mine was so wasted once, that she sent a text message to her boyfriend two counties away to "bring her wallet" and nothing else. The message just said: "Bring my wallet". To her advantage her boyfriend was already used to her being wasted and sending goofy messages in the middle of the night.
