I couldn't think of what else we criticise Spaniads for apart from producing soft footballers who fall over at the slightest contact but now the likes of Reyes are long gone and we got the superman who is Torres in the Prem

No, some French are rude...
Actually, I think I heard they are the worst tourists (or maybe it was the British...i don't remember) and when I was in Florence a bunch of French tourist confused me to be a native and asked me, in French, a question that was (I guess) "Where's Galleria Academia" and everything about that encounter was rude.

I mean, they asked me in French...do they assume that Italians give a rat's ass about their French language? They made no attempt to say anything to me in Italian nor use English which is sometimes uses as an "intermediary" language among Europeans.

Second, after trying to understand what they asked me, and before I could answer, they just move their hand in a dismissive way and somewhat pushed me aside.

Holden Caulfield

all french people are rude.

If you try to speak German in Berlin they smile pleased at your effort and then will answer you, usually in perfect english.

if you try to speak French in Paris and they stare at you as if you just pissed on their kids, AND if its in a shop they throw your change back at you.

Agreed
but I heard that the Czech Republic is putting forward similar or mostly the same laws in regards to cannabis AND perhaps also a few other drugs (i.e. massive decriminalization) to be put in effect for 2010. I think I might prefer the Czech.

Although according to Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_cannabis#Netherlands) and news article (http://blogs.wsj.com/new-europe/2009/12/08/czech-govt-allows-5-cannabis-plants-for-personal-use-from-2010/), it's not really is or being turned de jure "legal" in either of those 2 countries...the only country (I know of) that is considered actual legalization is the U.S. (at the state level: California being the fore-runner in this. By late 2010 they will have a referendum about legalizing, and taxing, ganja).

If this is the case, North California here I come!

I'd rather move to the Netherlands since all the best Revleft members are there

I dunno what's worse though, anti-communism to the max (Czech Republic) or extreme Islamophobia (Netherlands)

I come from York and I can assure you that that is untrue. In fact, Americans are the worst thing to happen to York since the Harrying of the North.

Kent is like the sister/twin city/region to Florida.

All I know is if by 2020 (or earlier, maybe between 2015-2020) the N. East U.S. do not legalize mj while it's legalized in California I'm very definately moving to the Bay Area.

Irish - still bitter about the British empire
Russians - still bitter about losing the USSR

The Germans fought WWII over being bitter about losing the "German Reich" (WWI)
The Italians after WWII lost their little empire.
