Well we chased them off last time but tomorrow looks like it's gonna be interesting. Yes the SIOE are coming back to Harrow to protest against the Mosque again.

On one hand we know we they'll be approaching from this time. (Harrow and Wealdstone station) On the other hand there is likely to more of them.

If we draw the same numbers as last time, around 1000, we should be able to block their path to the mosque.

Nothing happened.
About 15 EDL meatheads turned up and the counter demo had at least over 300 people. The EDL were cornered and surrounded by the police, in fact there was probably more than 20 times more officers than those louts.
That weyman guy and some old women were screaming down some crap down the megaphone on a UAF stand.
That’s about it.

Although I don’t think the anti-fascist and the local youth turn out was as much as the previous counter-demo

Nah the turnout was alot less from ourside than last time, about the same for theres. They had 5 peopel to start which grew to 17. Nothing happened, I actually went home early cos nothing was going down.

I saw it on BBC News earlier tonight. It did look uneventful, but then again, it looked like the amount of SIOE people was too small to actually do anything meaningful. They interviewed some bearded student who was with SIOE, and then some UAF lady ("these people are nazis!"). Meh.

Yeah I saw that. UAF lady was a bit embarrassing and the student seemed to have no idea what he was talking about.
