I know alot of people from the USSR involved with Che thought he was a Trotskyite, though Che always denied it.
The way I see it, Che advocated violent revolution throughout Latin America. That seems to be the main point in Trotsyism, so is Che a Trotskyite ?

Che really could only be considered a couple of things: a socialist, revolutionary, and a hero
as for him being a Trotskyite... i dont think so
he incorporated many different elements from leninism, marxism and lots of other things
but that doesnt make him a leninist or a marxist
he was really his own brand of revolutionary
how would you spell this?
a Guevaraist or a Cheist

Che was no doubt in my book an instegator, only with well intentions. Man, when I found out he almost started a world war, I cheered him on, only because that just proves how bad the system wants to destroy the HOPE of the people. In all reality, I was more sadden, so what are we gonna do? (ah)

So what does that have to do with Trotskyism ? Like I said, correct me if I'm wrong, the main difference between Trotsky and Marx is that Trotsky believed communism could only come through armed revolution, as did Che. I haven't studied Trotsky a whole lot, but that's what I thought.
