Reboot the World ! - A quick idea

This came up quite random in my head. Can revolution be compared to a reboot ? You basically end the old session and start a new one fresh. Forget about what you were doing before, now you start with a new desktop.
I admit, it might not be too explicit, too direct, but I thought on sharing this with you and see what are your opinions about it :

I'd rather say you change the user of the computer with a revolution. You basically take over the old stuff, but someone new controls it.. right? Or do all accomplishments of capitalism simply disappear when the proletarians take over power?

You still have the same machine (Earth, the button), but the "hand" of the people takes control and starts anew, through the act of "reboot". It flushes capitalism from the system and boots communism instead.
