In 2008 there was concert manifestation in Stockholm whole week and maybe even 2-3 weeks. They showed football games on big screen also. The failure of such manifestation is that during the day people are at work and it is big question how much people are really informed about events. Such manifestations are happening with minimum visitors and even these who came hardly enjoy. It means manifestation lost aim, it is without sense. Square was full of people only when there were showed important football games. The same problem I noticed at climate summit in Copenhagen. We are interested for counter summit i.e. protestors, here is what I saw. Thuesday in the morning I visited swimming pool, which is located in sport center where is climate forum also (as I see, sport center is listed in activist websites/addresses for events for protestors). At noon when I finished with swimming and jumping, in sport center were not so many people, although there are lot of reporters. In one sport hall (they set there stage and many chairs), there were 4 people at the stage and maybe 20 people like audience. In that time I didn't know it is (more or less) our side of summit, so I laughed in myself: watch, climate summit and in audience only 20 people. Today I understood there was counter summit. It is obvious that counter summit is made by many careerists from NGOs and who knows who else, so I don't think it is some damage that there were so small number of people. Unfortunately, in that time I didn't check who were speakers at the stage and what was the topic.

But, now (last night) I just came back from protest against war in Afghanistan (war is connected with pollution and corporations) which was held across the US embassy in Copenhagen. I could not believe but there were only 30 protestors and 20 journalists (plus cops, of course). I must respect those 30 people who are against imperialist war, because Denmark has 5 million inhabitants and who knows how many leftists and other activists, so those 30 must be very good people. It started 4 p.m. there was speech in Danish with translation in English and 3 persons from USA spoke also. One older leftist from Mississipi spoke about arrests before many years when they fought that Afroamericans get right to vote and now they see Afroamerican president who serves corporations and their fight for right to vote didn't change anything. The rest of his story was about South America and plan of USA to use Columbia for new war against Venezuela and some more countries there. Second man was from Black Liberation and his speech was in line with his socialist beliefs. Third person was Afroamerican and he spoke about Obama, unimportance of black or white president because they all serve corporations and make wars, he spoke about unemployment in his community while Obama spend money for wars. There were and Danish musicians, 3 mumias with guitars exchanged themselves on the stage, I saw them as people out of music time so I hardly waited that they finish. In any case, all 3 persons from USA held good speeches although it could be better without their beliefs in votes and the state. Protest showed unprofessional behavior of organizers: to bring old people with old music, time (4 p.m.) for protest was also bad, and there was lack of information for wider cycle of people to come to protest. Activists were informed with our media surely but it is obvious that they don't care that war destroy humans and nature, and war bring power, money, to corporations.
Summit will be held more days, so it is the same with counter summit, it means there will be crowd of events and happenings which will stay invisible, there will be small number of visitors. Danes showed how much they care for children in Afghanistan who die under bombs of their authorities. As I said, 30 people, plus some of us were foreigners. There were not even people from Afghanistan who lives in Denmark, no thousands of leftists and anarchists. There were 3 autonomen, one leninist and me.Partly organizers are responsible for small number of visitors, partly are responsible people. If nobody cares, RAF was correct when they said that war must be transfered to imperialist (European and US) cities (after that people will care). Egoism, caring only about own ass, while other people die, is result of capitalism. Media helped to authorities to keep society under control. Yes, i think it is the best description of this weak protest: control. Beside it, I remembered that the strongest racism, which is part of war propaganda, against Muslims is present in countries of oil corporations: Netherland/Britain: Shell; in Denmark it is Møller Maersk corporation, they got contract to exploit oil in Iraq and they exploit already oil in Nigeria and Qatar. There are and more corporations but I don't remember now who else got contract to exploit oil in Iraq, who got it, they stand behind wars.

If we want to be correct: No1 are energy and chemical companies, so, animal farms can be No2.
