..For Capitalists mistakes.
Today saw the 3rd budget in one year in Ireland being held . And the only all round conclusion from all 3 is that all of them attacked lower income working class families while never once touching the rich in any sort of way.
Alongside past introductions from the budgets such as the removal of the christmas bonus for families on welfare etc
We have seen today:
10% reduction in child benfit
5-15% cut in public service workers pay
10% increase in prescription charges
Introduction of charges for prescriptions for medical care holders
400million worth of cuts to the health service
Social Welfare payments is to be cut by 4.1%
Job seekers allowance is to be cut to e100 from e200 for under 21's
For over 21's is has been cut to e150
Carbon tax has been introduced for e15 for every tonne.
What we haven't seen:
No change in corporation tax : it remains at a puny 12.5%
No introduction of a wealth tax on assets of value more that 1million
No introduction of a 3rd rate of tax higher earners
No move to control high earners in banks which have been bailed out
No provisions of any sort that would help working class families
Scrappage of plans to introduce preschool education to children paid by public means.
No surprises just more of the same really. F**king b*llsh*t !
