Can I get what he has written somewhere online for free? I don't have any money to buy what he has done.

Here is a link to his most famous/notorious text, to get you started.

http://www.kersplebedeb.com/mystuff/s11/churchill.html

Here is a full talk by churchill as well:

I caution you though, that churchill has his limitations, especially when it comes to Marxism. He is an authority on indigenous peoples and their resistance, though.

Have you read Pacifism as Pathology? It's an excellent book. It's available at the Anarchist library. http://www.andspyrna.org/

edit; I discovered it's available online here in pdf format:

Has anyone got any links to anything he has done on Culture of Native Americans (it's for school)?

Not sure if it's online but check out Native Voices, which he wrote with Glenn Morris another indigeneous activist/prof. We read it when I took Morris' class at the U of Colorado.

While I may not have anything from Ward, are you looking for historical accounts and traditional culture, or contemporary perspectives and native culture today?

Why is this in chit-chat by the way? Shouldn't this rather be in Research and Online Classes sub-forum?

I would highly recommend anything by Vine Deloria Jr., a Standing Rock Sioux.Although I don't share some of his metaphysical and spiritual beliefs, he knew current issues very well. Also highly recommended by me at all times is Andrea Smith, a Cherokee. In particular her book Conquest is a must read.
A History of Indian Policy by S. Lyman Tyler is also quite good, as it provides a comprehensive history of American policies, although since it was written largely as a debriefing for government officials in the 1970s, it is a bit dated and biased in parts. Lately I've been looking for books on the history of the specific tribes I'm from (Yakama and Choctaw), and would also recommend The Rise and Fall of the Choctaw Nation by Angie Debo, which I'm currently reading. I'll be purchasing some of Ward Churchill's works sometime soon and I'll let you know what I think is good. I read a bit of A Little Matter of Genocide in the store and will probably buy that one first.

Ward Churchill is a nasty bastard.

He was involved in the attempt to get the Moskito Indians in Nicaragua to act as the shock troops of imperialism... Like the Hmong in Laos or the Montagnards in Vietnam... Or the Khoi San in Angola. Then, when imperialism loses, as it did in all of those places, there would be a good supply of ethnic hatred built up against the Moskitos which would take decades to die down.

All this in the name of Indian rights, you know.

The main part of AIM was involved in peace negotiations that brought about a settlement between the Moskitos and the Sandinistas, addressing the legitimate problems the Moskitos had without violence and without their being manipulated by an imperialist power. But Ward didn't much care for that.

I don't know that the CIA is paying him, but I can't help thinking they should... He's done such wonderful work for them.
