View Full Version : What are those "danger of death" huts?

I keep noticing these things but never been brave enough to open one up to see what's inside. They're little shacks, ranging from about twice the size of a garden shed, to the size of a cubicle in a loo. They always have these yellow "danger of death" signs on them. I've tried searching on the net for them, but I cant find anything (other than websites selling the signs!).

I'm assuming that they're transformers for the national grid, but I dont know for sure, because the yellow sign is a bit offputting. What else would be in there? In an emergency situation, would it be possible and safe to use it to power something directly off the national grid, or would there be yet another transformer at each home to bring the voltage down to 240v?

I'm also guessing that at the grid end of the whole thing that the voltage is going to be so high that the current will be extreamly low?

I think if I dont ask this stuff, curiosity will get the better of me one day and I'll take a peek and probably get cooked lol.

They are actually GPS navigational base systems for UFO's as part of the international new world order reptilian conspiracy. They want you to think they are part of the electricity grid. :D

lol. I said that I thought that they might transformers to lower the voltage/up the current from the national grid. I was after more information on them and whether they're something else like I dunno, giant resistors or somethign to do with the meters or something. I really wasnt suggesting some kind of conspiricy theory.

if you go and check, dont cary any metal...

I think they are transformers or something similar, yes.

I don't think you would be at risk by just opening it, but you probably would if you started messing around with the stuff inside.

if they are transformers, you could be killed instantly if you cary sommething of metal en dont wear isolated shoes.
those signs are there for an reason, its fucking dangerous, stay the fuck out.

LOL I was only joking so I hope you took it in the spirit it was meant!:)

I think your right, they are to my knowledge transformers to regulate the voltage of the national grid...

Hold on though...... aren't transformers robots in disguise?:)

reptilian conspiracy.

Well I am glad at least somebody on revleft is aware of the threat posed by the reptilian overlords.

Reminds me of an old American joke:

Senior Electrician (to Apprentice): Grab one of those cables over there.

Apprentice: Which one?

Senior Electrician: Doesn't matter, either one.

Apprentice: Now what?

Senior Electrician: Don't touch the other one. It's running 50,000 volts.
