Is My Morning Jacket overrated?

Okay, so right now I'm watching American Dad and they're talking about how great My Morning Jacket is. Now, on top of that, the band comes from my home town, so since we rarely make the map, all the hipsters around here won't shut up about how ahead of the curve they are. Now, I like them alright, I actually like a few albums and I own a vinyl record of them, but are they really deserved of this godlike hype?:confused:

NO way, I've actually been to see them because I got free tickets. Worst musical experience of my life. Maybe it's just me but I hate that type of music.
